Children’s Ministry
Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) seeks to hire a paid summer intern to work with its’ Children’s Ministry. The intern will work for 10 weeks from mid May through July. Hours will vary from week to week, and flexibility is required. There will be some work on Sundays. The intern will work a total of approximately 300 hours. This person will assist with the Early Childhood as well as the Elementary Education Ministries. Applicants must have a high school and/or college degree and a demonstrated interest in Christian Education. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with training and the implementation of Vacation Bible School for both the Early Education and Elementary Education Ministries, assist with Sunday School, and supervise on several Sundays when the respective Directors are on vacation. Middle School Ministry
Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) seeks to hire a paid summer intern to work with its’ Middle School Ministry. The intern will work for 10 weeks from late May until early August. Hours will vary from week to week, and flexibility is required. There will be some work on Sundays. The intern will work a total of approximately 300 hours. Applicants must have a high school and/or college degree and have a demonstrated interest in Christian Education. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching and preparation of Sunday School curriculum, attending youth fellowship activities, and participating in local youth mission opportunities as well as a mission trip to Atlanta, Georgia. High School Ministry
Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) seeks to hire a paid summer intern to work with its’ High School Ministry. The intern will work for 10 weeks from late May through early August. Hours will vary from week to week, and flexibility is required. There will be some work on Sundays. The intern will work a total of approximately 300 hours. Applicants must have a high school and/or college degree and have a demonstrated interest in Christian Education. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching and preparation of Sunday School curriculum, attending youth fellowship activities, and participating in local youth mission opportunities as well as helping to supervise and organize mission trips to Heifer and Appalachia.
