In April, tornadoes swept through the south and southeast, killing hundreds of people and causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage. In August, floods ravaged the east coast. And in September Hurricane Irene, while hyped by the media, cause extensive damage to the east coast. This Fall Break (October 7-11) we will travel to the impacted communities of eastern North Carolina and help them move from immediate relief to longer-term recovery. Our assignment: Wanchese, NC.
