If you feel even a nudge from God to enter into the ministry then this is the trip for you! The
United Methodist Church hosts a conference every other year for exploring your call into
the ministry. This is open for ANYBODY and you do not have to be a member of the United
Methodist Church. This years conference is held in the beautiful city of St. Louis, Missouri.
The Western NC Conference and the Board of Higher Education offer two scholarships in the
amounts of $400 and $150 respectively which will make your trip virtually free!! Why would you
turn down a chance to go away for the weekend for free! Registration is $200 and includes
everything except flight. Flight is around $250, all which can be covered by the scholarships!

A three-day event for young adults age 18-26 to hear, discern,and respond to God’s call to ordained
ministry and to explore their gifts for service as a deacon or elder in The United Methodist Church. If you
have sensed that God might be calling you to ordained ministry, wondered what ministry in The United
Methodist Church is all about, would like some help sorting though the issues surrounding a Christian
vocation, or want to find out more about The United Methodist seminaries and theological schools, this
gathering is for you.
