The 196th Episcopal Convention for the North Carolina Diocese is right around the corner. Have you ever wondered how your denomination works and functions? This is the perfect time to watch the denomination move and grow in new directions.
This will be an especially exciting year as the keynote speaker will be given by The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. There will also be a major vote on whether to allow campus ministries the right to vote, so this is the year to go and our support is needed.
You do not have to be a member of the Episcopal Church but a knowledge of it would be helpful. Niner United will pay for the hotel for that night, but food and gas is not covered. We need two people to attend.
