Browse the ways to volunteer below. If you are interested in any of these ways, let us know. Perhaps you can think of a different way to volunteer … let us know that as well!
Be Present
Volunteer time at our Student Center, the “Shed.” Here you can help students study, talk with them about various issues, serve coffee or just be present.
Assist
Offer your professional skills to these young adults – tutoring, teaching them how to change their oil, keep a budget, plant a garden, etc. Or donate your skill of marketing, accounting, law, etc. to the ministry in general.
Host or Bake
Host a pizza party, ice cream social, or popcorn & movie night. Bake a dish for our student center, or prepare a home-cooked meal for one of our student programs.
Raise Money
Organize a tournament, campaign, rummage sale, auction, gala, or other fundraising event.
Collect Books
Donate your used books to our student center, the “Shed.”
Sponsor a Student
Sponsor a student’s mission trip or conference experience.
Mentor a Student
Spend time with specific students in a mentoring relationship.
Travel with us
Travel with these young adults on a major mission trip as a non-student adult advisor.
Open Doors
Introduce ways for the campus ministry to connect with agencies and churches. Maybe your church needs extra Habitat for Humanity volunteers or extra help at a special event.
Drive
Volunteer to drive (or provide) your church’s van or bus for campus ministry events
Offer Space
Consider offering your space to use for campus ministry events. Perhaps your company has boardroom space, warehouse space, or even worship space. Maybe your home would be a great place for students to gather. The same goes for your church. If you are fortunate enough to have a vacation home, perhaps you could consider allowing the campus ministry to use the home as a retreat or weekend getaway.
Lend a Hand
Volunteer to help with major events in any number of different capacities from setting-up, serving food, breaking-down, etc.
Help with Office Work
Enter new student or volunteer data or stuff envelopes.
Just let us know how you would like to chip in …
